It’s a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Bryce is distinctive due to geological structures called hoodoos, formed by frost weathering and stream erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rocks.
White House Ruins in Canyon de Chelly (pronounced “canyon d’shay”), This is considered one of the oldest continuously occupied sites in North America with over 2500 archeological sites from 1500 B.C. to 1350 A.D. The White House Ruins are Anasazi cliff dwellings built after 1100 A.D.
Washburn Point is an overlook off Glacier Road in Yosemite National Park with spectacular views of Half Dome, Liberty Cap, Nevada Falls and Vernal Falls.
