Queen Angelfish

The dark blue spot on the Queen Angel’s forehead makes this an easy fish to identify. This spot is outlined in bright blue (yes, those really are accurate colors!) and has bright blue spots over the darker blue circle.

This fish is most often colored with blue, greenish blue and yellow. Rarely, it’s also been seen with orange.

These fish are shy at first. Until just when you think you have no chance of getting a good photograph, their curiosity overwhelms their shyness and they swim back around. Getting a good shot of an angelfish requires patience.
